The Soo Eagles are an American junior ice hockey team from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. They are members of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League and USA Hockey. Soo Eagles roster is made up of American born players from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan. The Eagles home rink is Pullar Stadium, celebrating its 70th anniversary. Pullar is the former training site of the Detroit Red Wings and also the former home of the Soo Lakers. This is the "Original Hockeytown USA"

Pullar Stadium was completed in 1939 at a cost of $ 181,000 and was state of the art at the time of completion. Sophia Nolte Pullar's bequest of $70,000 in her will made the project possible. In the early days, Pullar ice rental was $3 an hour. Sixty years later, the prime-time hourly rate is $90.

Pullar Stadium was one of the few rinks in the world to have summer ice. Pullar has been used for teen dances, graduation ceremonies, big bands, as a roller-rink, and is still being used for visiting circuses. Red Wing greats such as Gordie Howe, Ted Lindsay, Sid Abel, and Alex Delvecchio skated at the Pullar as did the Lake Superior State University Lakers and the Soo Indians. Pullar is also home to the Hiawatha Skating Club, the Sault High Blue Devils, and the Sault Michigan Hockey Association along with other local youth and adult hockey leagues.

In 1979, the Manny Boucher room was built in memory of Fred "Manny" Boucher, who was a longtime Sault Parks & Recreation director. The Boucher room is used as a public meeting place for various groups, and there are two offices which are utilized by the Parks & Recreation staff.
